I injured my shoulder in December 2020, and after months of struggling with various therapists and NHS physios, I finally made the decision to seek out help through private healthcare. I do not have health insurance, so this was a significant investment. After months of seeing people who I mostly felt didn't listen to me or understand how to help me, I felt instantly reassured the first time I saw Mr Gupta. It was such a massive relief that I got out to my car and cried because I knew I had finally found the person who could help me. He recommended cortisone injections, which I had. They were just what I needed, and I've recovered much of my mobility. Mr Gupta has now recommended physio sessions, which I will be pursuing. Since the treatment, I have been able to sleep in a comfortable position for the first time since last year. This week, I was able to hook my own bra without getting help for the first time since December. I feel like I am finally getting back to normal life after almost a year of pain, discomfort, and mobility problems. I am so grateful to have found Mr Gupta, and I would recommend him to anyone who has an injury such as mine. His intervention and help has absolutely changed my life.

He listened to all of the different issues I was facing. Not just what I was there to see him about. He then communicate very clearly and helped me to see the way forward on how to address the different medical issues I was facing. I came away confident that I had been heard and in the confidence as to how to move forward. I haven’t seen to many Doctors treat you wholistic you. He excelled at that and also it goes without saying the surgery and follow up was superb.

Dr. Gupta deserves to be held as one of the Uks best surgeons. In 2019 after 3 years of neglect from my GP who I am no longer with someone recommended I see Dr. Gupta. I had suffered terrible pain in my left shoulder and I could hardly do everyday tasks. Dr. Gupta straight away sent me for all the tests ( scans etc). He operated on my shoulder after which I contracted gastroenteritis ( nothing to do with the doctor as it was at home). After not been able to exercise post op my shoulder froze . Dr Gupta performed a second op to remove the scar tissue. This was successful. This year I started to have problems with my right shoulder but not as serious as my left but very painful. I am now nearly 3 weeks post op after Dr Gupta worked his magic. With the help of my physiotherapist Mrs Saville I am on my way to getting back to normal albeit still painful. It takes up to 6 months to heal. Dr. Gupta has been my guidance my strength and the loveliest Dr. you could ever meet. I shall forever sing his praises. I have now run out of shoulders. I will forever be eternally grateful to Dr. Gupta.

Mr Gupta has been taking great care of both my shoulders since 2014, when he performed an anatomical total replacement of my worn arthritic right shoulder, which was a great success. In 2018 he performed similar surgery on my left shoulder and this year, as my rotator cuff was failing, he very cleverly performed complex right shoulder revision to reverse total replacement with bone grafting. Mr Gupta has always shown me great kindness and generosity of his time. I have total trust in his expertise.
